Your life has the ability to impact far more lives than you could ever imagine! Like a stone being thrown into a still pond, our lives cause ripples that extend far beyond where we land. Jesus said, “‘You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth’” (Acts 1:8)
Cindy and I are constantly amazed at how Father uses YOUR MINISTRY with us to impact students from around the world with the Gospel. Hopefully, this story of Cindy, Caitlin, Cici and Nat will inspire you and see the impact we are making together.
Over the last 16 months Cindy has been meeting with and discipling Caitlin, a UNC women’s soccer player, journalism student and future Every Nation campus minister. Caitlin is an amazing young lady that you may recall meeting in previous newsletters.
Like Cindy, Caitlin has a heart for reaching the nations and began reaching out to a fellow journalism student Cici from Shanghai, China. Cici was eventually baptized, connected to our EN Campus group and is now being discipled by Caitlin. Father profoundly impacted her and Cici then began to reach out to her friend Nat, an international student from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. See where this is going!
Nat began visiting our church and campus outreach and was amazed at the love and acceptance she felt. If there was a church or campus event, Nat was there. So much so that many were shocked that she had not yet been born again.
But just last week, Nat came to hear Cindy share her testimony of her journey from Malaysia at a women’s event. Following the meeting, Nat received prayer and was profoundly impacted by the Holy Spirit. Her heart was then fully open and Caitlin led Nat in a prayer to receive Jesus as her Lord and Savior! The girls rejoiced and so did Heaven!
The start of this story truly begins with YOU. Your role as the one who prays and the one who sends is what makes this story possible. Basically, your partnership is what casts the stone into the pond!
Thanks again for your friendship. We love love and appreciate you! Have a wonderful summer.
John and Cindy
