What a great Celebrate the Nations Sunday at King’s Park International Church. Over the years we have purposefully reached out to the nations in the Trianagle and now we have over 60 nations represented in our congregation. Click the image or this link to see the video.
We love that Every Nation Campus at University of North Carolina is a glorious representation of people from every ethnic background loving God, loving each other and loving their campus together!
For years now, Every Nation Campus Ministries has been incredibly fruitful in preaching the Gospel on campus and seeing young people born-again. Cindy and I hear many great stories of students getting saved across this nation. Thanks so much for helping make this possible! But we are also hear endless stories of students who are born-again, love Jesus, plugged into a great church or campus ministry, but are paralyzed from wounds of their past and unable to walk in freedom in Christ! Thankfully Father has annointed Cindy to help bring healing to the broken hearted … →
Fall is one the way and so is the season of harvest! Thank’s so much for partnering with us to reach young people that are desperately in need of a spiritual awakening and an encounter with Jesus! The last few weeks have been filled with various outreaches on campus connecting with current and new students. Hundreds of students have been engaged with the Gospel and and are now in the process of being connected to student leaders, life groups and … →
It was such an honor to meet Paul Eshleman at the recent Middle East Strategic Summit we helped host at King’s Park International Church. Currently, Paul is the vice president of Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ). But for 26 years Paul directed the Jesus Film project. It was probably the most effective evangelistic tool in the history of the world. The Jesus Film has been translated into 1440 languages, viewed nearly 6 billion times and has helped lead over 200 million to Christ!
Cindy spent countless hours teaching, equipping and counseling students during their time at the School of Empowerment. The students are heading home equipped to bring the Gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit to their cities and campuses.
Here is my dear friend and new Christ follower “Ahmed” from Ethiopia. “Ahmed” had been a Muslim for over 70 years, but had one of his children who had become a Christian praying for his salvation for almost 30 years! What a glorious time it has been seeing him powerfully come to faith in Jesus.
Here is a group shot from the recent Every Nation School of Empowerment. It was an amazing 2 1/2 weeks equipping students from across the nation to walk in their spiritual gifts as represented in 1 Corinthians 12.
Here are our friends Mohammed (center) and Abdul (right). These men have both been through incredible hardship in the last few years in their journey from Darfur, Sudan to Raleigh. It is one of the great missions opportunities for the church in America to reach some of the most unreached people groups with the love of Jesus Christ.
Your life has the ability to impact far more lives than you could ever imagine! Like a stone being thrown into a still pond, our lives cause ripples that extend far beyond where we land. Jesus said, “‘You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth’” (Acts 1:8) Cindy and I are constantly amazed at how Father uses YOUR MINISTRY with us to impact students from around the world with the … →
Greetings from Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina! Home of some of the best college basketball in America. UNC, Duke and NC State basketball is not the only thing advancing in the area this month. The kingdom of God continues to advance as well. We have so many exciting open doors to students and refugees from around the world that now live in the Triangle. The most exciting open door is with several UNC students from China who are members of the Chinese Olympic team. Recently we hosted … →
Meet my friend Mohammed. Mohammad moved to Raleigh three months ago from North Sudan as a refugee. OpenDoorsUSA.org lists North Sudan as the #6 nation in the world for persecuting Christians. What an opportunity to share Fathers love with our Muslim friends!
The doors continue to open reaching hispanics that are gathered here in the Triangle. Here is Cindy speaking at our Every Nation hispanic church here in Durham. They were wrapping up their 24 hours of prayer and gave Cindy several hours to speak to the church. It was a powerful time as she ministered to the church in English, while being translated into Spanish by Pastor Ernesto. Many responded to the alter call Cindy gave that night. Praise the Lord!
For decades now, the church has been made aware of the unreached peoples that reside in the 10-40 Window. That location is shown in this image above and represents the area from 10 to 40 degrees latitude in the northern hemisphere. In the last month alone, I have had heart to heart conversations with dozens of international students and refugees from nations in the 10-40 window and now live in the Triangle. Those nations include Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Eritrea, Egypt, Sudan, Morocco, Pakistan, Jordan, Myanmar, Laos, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Congo, Ivory Coast, Benin and … →
Here is our new friend and UNC visiting scholar “Li Hong” from China. She became a Christ follower recently before coming to the US and a friend working in China asked Cindy to follow up and disciple “Li Hong.” She has tremendous favor over her life, evidenced by the fact she was asked to carry the Chinese flag at the opening ceremony of the 2014 Olympics in Sochi.
