Greetings from Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina! Home of some of the best college basketball in America. UNC, Duke and NC State basketball is not the only thing advancing in the area this month. The kingdom of God continues to advance as well.
We have so many exciting open doors to students and refugees from around the world that now live in the Triangle.
The most exciting open door is with several UNC students from China who are members of the Chinese Olympic team. Recently we hosted a Chinese New Year and had our speed skater friend Quihong join us. (see last months newsletter) She invited a fellow Chinese Olympian Zhong Man.
Zhong won a Gold medal in fencing at the Beijing Olympics and is a visiting scholar at UNC for the next 9 months. We made a wonderful connection, will be meeting again soon and are already making plans for a visit to see him and others in Beijingnext year. Open doors!
Also last month, Cindy spent four days with the female leaders of a new Every Nation church plant in San Antonio, TX. As you may know, Cindy has a powerful gift of counseling and teaching and is seeing so many young women healed of deep emotional wounds of their past. It was an awesome time of counseling, healing and equipping by Cindy for the ladies of Every Nation – San Antonio.
But the most exciting news is that 1200+ students are arriving in Durham today for the start of our 25th anniversary Campus Harvest conference! Students from across the country are here for a weekend of inspiration and equipping from our Campus Harvest and Every Nation team. Please pray with us for a powerful weekend of encountering Father!
These stories and stories below are just a few of the highlights of what Father is doing through our work with Every Nation here in the Triangle.
Thank you so much for making this all possible through your prayer and partnership.
We love and appreciate you and are believing the best for you!
